About Kim Curran
Kim Curran received her Pilates Certification from the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), an international professional association for the Pilates Method and the national leader in the Pilates Movement. She is also certified in BCES, CPI, CPT, CPR, NA, SMART, and NASM.
Kim’s enthusiasm for fitness began early in life. As a child and teenager, she studied both dance and gymnastics. Her interest in health and fitness led her to attend nursing school and receive numerous fitness certifications. She has taught aerobics and spinning classes for years. She is also a certified Personal Trainer and has trained clients in both a gym and home environment for over 15 years. She has trained adults, children and clients with special needs and injuries as well as body builders preparing for figure and fitness shows.
Kim began practicing Pilates as a way to help balance her own body after years of weight training, aerobics and spinning classes. She has found that by incorporating Pilates into her life, she has restored her flexibility and has significantly improved her core strength.
Kim is very passionate about teaching Pilates and helping her clients achieve and maintain their fitness goals. It is Kim’s hope to bring the benefits that she has received from her own Pilates practice into each clients workout. She brings a smile and positive energy to every session and strives to offer each client a beneficial and enjoyable experience.
